The Zener 8000 ECODRIVE® solution is a Solar Variable Speed Drive with a built-in Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) controller to achieve the maximum power from the Solar Array under all conditions. The ECODRIVE® also includes Zener’s sophisticated motor control algorithm designed to achieve maximum motor energy efficiency. The ECODRIVE® is versatile, offering enormous flexibility for system integrators or OEMs with its internal logic functions, programmable I/O and ability to communicate with other equipment. The ECODRIVE® can operate standalone Solar or as a hybrid (or blended system) using an auxiliary supply. The auxiliary supply may be single phase (240V 0r 480V SWER) or 3 phase from a generator or mains grid.

The Zener 8000 1100V is an Australian designed variable speed drive for the mining industry. It provides a robust and reliable solution to motor speed control. The 1100V range uses the same control board as the standard Zener 8000 series offering a commonality in options, I/O and also menu familiarity.

The Zener 8000 is an Australian designed variable speed drive providing a robust and reliable solution to motor speed control. Available for 480V SWER supplies or 240V single phase.

SWER (single wire earth return) supply - 480Vac

The Zener 8000 can operate from a single phase supply of 480 Vac, generally used in rural areas. From a 480 single phase supply it can provide 415V 3 phase supply to a standard motor. Full control of the motor speed is achieved providing energy savings and a significant reduction in the starting currents.

240V single phase to 240V 3 phase
